The mountains around Storsätra are friendly and the hiking trails are many and long. Most of our guests visit us for the excellent hiking, but the mountains have more to offer. Fishing, for example, with fantastic fishing waters just a stone's throw from the hotel. Or rent a rowboat and glide over the calm waters of Grövelsjön. It's an experience both with and without a fishing rod!
Vast Untouched Wilderness
The hiking trails, which are marked with crosses, start directly from the hotel and quickly take you up to the bare mountain. The view over Grövelsjön is striking. Take the time to enjoy what you see once you have reached the top. In summer, when the sun barely sets, the evening light is something truly special.
